An Australian man, Bill Dusting, 48, who has been working as a mailman in the US, for the last 15 years narrowly escaped the fighter jet crash in San Diego street, which killed at least three people. Dusting originally from St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia was on his midday mail delivery run in the middle-class neighbourhood near Miramar navy base, when F/A-18D Hornet crashed into the street, which flattened the house.
He said, ‘He heard a bang noise, he thought someone was shooting at him,’ but when he looked up in the air he saw the parachute and then he saw the jet heading straight towards him. He was quick to run away from the home and on the right direction, which saved his life. But, the fighter went crashing few more houses across the street.
There was a very quick response from police, fire department and there was also some black vehicles with black windows in the crash scene, being a navy crash it would be of something important. But, the man was happy to be alive and was looking forward to call his 89 year old mum who is living in Australia. It was the hand of God to spare his life.
